The Italian Cultural Garden ITALIAN GARDEN HOME

The Renaissance
Restoration Project

Joyce Mariani who lived in Rome visited the Italian Cultural Garden on a visit home. Reminding her of the Renaissance Gardens near her home in Rome. She formed a non-profit charitable foundation and founded the Cleveland Italian Film Festival which helps support the restoration. An opera performance after a 65 year absence for the public was part of the "Viva! Cultural Italiana" cultural series.

Today, the Italian Cultural Garden is the most used garden by the citizens of Cleveland for weddings and special events. The elegance of its plaza and wide walkways allows easy access from East Boulevard. A new rebirth of interest is happening in the Italian community in Cleveland with renewed interest in the current restoration of the garden.

The Italian Cultural Garden is a historical portrait of Italian beauty and art that gives visitors from the United States and around the world the opportunity to enjoy the refinement of Italy through her gardens.
